Titanic

Some of the shoes

still lay in pairs

on the ocean floor.

Small slender boats—

the flirtatious tilt

of an ankle in a t-strap,

glare of chandelier

on a shiny oxford.

In strong currents

the broken clocks

of their bodies,

swaying.
