Arthur Brown

Arthur Brown has poems forthcoming in The Kenyon Review and The New Criterion. His new manuscript was a finalist for the National Poetry Series and other competitions. Seven poems were featured in Janus Head 19.1 and others published in American Journal of Poetry, Southwest Review, and an earlier issue of Janus Head. Poems from Duration and the Second Hand and The Mackerel at St. Ives (David Roberts, 2013 and 2008) were published in Poetry, Michigan Quarterly Review, Agni, American Arts Quarterly, The Malahat Review, and other journals. His poems have won the Morton Marr Poetry Prize and the American Literary Review Poetry Prize. He has published essays in Janus Head and Philosophy and Literature and drama in Arts & Letters. He is an emeritus professor of English from the University of Evansville now living with his wife in Chupadero, NM, near Santa Fe.
