Hester Knibbe

Winner of five national awards, poet Hester Knibbe is keen to observe beside the general, to see the special, making new and unexpected connections. The usual paths are undermined shrewdly; road signs are removed. Former poet laureate for the city of Rotterdam, Hester Knibbe has appeared at various international poetry festivals, including Princeton, and her work has been translated into six languages.
