Lesyk Panasiuk

Lesyk Panasiuk is a Ukrainian poet, translator and member of PEN Ukraine. Author of six poetry collections, and one of the first Ukrainian translators of Louise Gluck, he has won various fellowships for his work, including those from the President of Ukraine, the International Writers and translators House in Ventspils, House of Europe, Staromiejski House of Culture in Warsaw, the Shevchenko Scientific Society, Dartmouth College, and University of Alberta. His work has been translated in several languages, including Swedish and Polish. His debut poetry collection in English, co-translated by Katie Farris and Ilya Kaminsky is forthcoming from Sarabande in January 2026. Originally from Bucha, he has joined the Ukrainian army after the country was invaded by Russia.
