Huda J. Fakhreddine is a writer, translator, and the author of several scholarly books on Arabic poetry including The Arabic Prose Poem: Poetic Theory and Practice (Edinburgh University Press), and the co-editor of The Routledge Handbook of Arabic Poetry (Routledge). Her translations have appeared in ArabLit Quarterly, and Asymptote, Nimrod, and World Literature Today among many others. She teaches at the University of Pennsylvania.
