Poems translated by David Keplinger

David Keplinger is the author of eight books of poetry, including Ice (Milkweed Editions, 2023), The World to Come (Conduit Books and Ephemera, 2021) and Another City (Milkweed Editions, 2018), which was awarded the 2019 UNT Rilke Prize. His work as a translator includes German poet Jan Wagner’s The Art of Topiary (Milkweed Editions, 2017); his 2019 translation of Danish poet Carsten René Nielsen’s Forty-One Objects was a finalist for the 2020 National Translation Award. He lives in Washington, D.C. and teaches in the Department of Literature at American University.
