Lloyd Schwartz’s most recent book is Who’s on First? New and Selected Poems (University of Chicago Press). He is the poet laureate of Somerville, Massachusetts and the recipient of a 2021 Poets Laureate Fellowship from the Academy of American Poets. Among his other awards are a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship in Poetry and a Pulitzer Prize for Criticism. He is also the classical music critic for NPR’s Fresh Air and the principal editor of the Library of America’s Elizabeth Bishop: Poems, Prose, and Letters and Elizabeth Bishop: Prose (FSG).
