Isaac Stackhouse Wheeler is a poet and translator best known for his English renderings of work by great contemporary Ukrainian writer Serhiy Zhadan with co-translator Reilly Costigan-Humes. Their next Zhadan translation, Mesopotamia, is forthcoming from Yale University Press. Wheeler’s poetry and translations have appeared in numerous journals, including The Missing Slate, the Peacock Journal, and Two Lines.
