Volodymyr Tymchuk

Volodymyr Tymchuk is a Ukrainian poet, writer, translator, researcher, and lieutenant colonel in the Ukrainian Army. He has been on active duty for the last year and a half in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Tymchuk has published over a dozen collections of both verse and prose poetry. He edited the anthology In Principio Erat Verbum: Ukrainian Poems of War,  which contains poems in both Ukrainian and French about the first 100 days of the Ukrainian War. He was nominated last year to receive the “Volyanik-Shwabinskyi Literary and Scientific Award” by the Ukrainian Free University in the U.S..
