Joscha Klueppel is a sixth-year doctoral student at the University of Oregon. One of his interests is German Science Fiction. Recently, he has started working on the contemporary poetry of Yevgeniy Breyger, which has resulted in a published essay as well as translations. In his dissertation, which focuses on the works of author Saša Stanišic, he is exploring ways to bring contemporary German literature in conversation with decolonial thinkers in Africa and the Caribbean. His second project combines decolonial conversations with the field of New Media, particularly in contexts of migration.
