Connie Voisine is the author most recently of The Bower (University of Chicago Press, 2019), begun during a Fulbright Fellowship to Northern Ireland. Other books include Cathedral of the North (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2001), Rare High Meadow of Which I Might Dream (University of Chicago Press, 2010), Calle Florista (University of Chicago Press, 2015), and the chapbook, And God Created Women (Bull City Press, 2018). Her writing appears in Poetry, The New Yorker, and other magazines. A 2021 Guggenheim Fellow, she is Professor of Creative Writing at New Mexico State University and teaches in Warren Wilson’s MFA program.
