Helga Landauer-Olshvang

Helga Landauer-Olshvang is a poet, screen writer, and filmmaker. She was born in Moscow, where she graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. Her films have been screened at many international film festivals and significant American and European venues, including the Louvre and Carnegie Hall. She has authored six books of poetry in Russian, under the name of Helga Olshvang: 96th Book (Composer’s Publishing House); The Reed and Poetry Works (Pushkinskiy Fond), Versions of the Present (Russian Gulliver Publishing) , The Three (Ailuros, NY) and Blue as White (Vozdukh). Her poetry has also been published and reviewed in leading Russian literary magazines and anthologies. Having moved to the U.S. in 1996, Helga lives in New York with her family.
